This document contains ethical guidelines for the delivery of comprehensive care to hospitalized patients and their families. The importance of patient-centered care is highlighted, considering their dignity and needs, while placing the members of the health teams as the central axis of care.
The document is available in 6 languages: Spanish, English, French, Arabic, Chinese and Portuguese. The text concludes with an analysis and critique of the document, prepared by UC academics and foreign partner universities. The richness of this work is its argument, which invites the reader to humanize health care and rediscover the human person as the center of everything.
